Two class types, one pack

    The timetable

    An eight-reformer class costs two credits and a 16-person mat class costs one.

    Monday

    A client buys a ten-credit pack that covers reformer and mat classes. They book three reformer classes and four mat classes, and see their balance after each one.

    Tuesday

    The 7 a.m. reformer class is full with four people waiting. Someone cancels the night before, and the first person waiting is booked, with their credits taken then.

Can clients pick their reformer?

Clients book a place in the class rather than a specific reformer, so you set up the room however suits the class.

Can clients book one-to-one sessions with an instructor?

Yes, as a private session with one place and an instructor. Regular clients book each week's session themselves.

Can a pack cover reformer classes but not workshops?

Yes. A credit pack can be limited to the class categories you choose.

How do late-cancel and no-show fees work?

Set the fees on memberships and passes. When a client cancels inside your window or doesn't show, staff see the fee on the booking and charge the saved card or waive it. These fees apply to memberships and passes rather than credit packs.

Can I run an intro offer for new clients?

Yes. Sell a two-week unlimited pass or a small credit pack on your website, and check at the desk that buyers are new to the studio.

We use Mindbody or Kenko today. What comes across?

Customers, memberships, credit balances, sessions and upcoming bookings, from Kenko exports or a Mindbody snapshot. A rehearsal shows anything that wouldn't import cleanly before anything changes. Saved cards and payment subscriptions don't transfer, so plan how members will add their card again. On another system? Tell us which one when you ask for a quote.
